Chantilly, Va. - TVWorldwide.com, a fast-growing web-based global TV network, announced that it's Internet TV Channel, for the community of people with disabilities, AT508.com, ( www.AT508.com )would webcast two National Council on Disabilities events commemorating the 15 th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, July 25-26, 2005. AT508.com channel sponsors Paciello Group and Canon are making these webcasts possible through their generous support. Paciello Group President Mike Paciello will be participating in these events and offer a first-hand perspective for AT508 on event activities and issues facing the ADA as it celebrates its 15 th anniversary.

Former President George H. W. Bush will be the keynote speaker at an invitation-only National Council on Disabilities reception July 25 at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington , D.C at 7 PM . The free webcast will be available as an archived video for one year, on www.tvworldwide.com and www.at508.com.

U.S. Access Board public forums on its goals under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Will also be webcast for on-demand viewing. These forums, to be held July 26 at the Marriott at Metro Center in downtown Washington D.C. located at 775 12th Street, N.W. , allow the public to provide input to help shape the Board's agenda. The forum seninars include an opening plenary session, six ADA-related workshops, and a closing plenary session. The meetings are free and open to the public to encourage input on the Board's agenda in such areas as rulemaking, research, technical assistance, and training.  It's also a chance to comment on issues the Board should address in its research program, informational meetings, outreach, training programs, website and written guidelines for accessible design.

“ADA represents a true milestone in the recognition of the rights of people with disabilities,” said Paciello. “Without its passage millions of Americans would be denied access to opportunities that are enjoyed each day by those who do not have disabilities. Still, as happy a day as this is, it is also a day to focus on the challenges that confront this growing population. As we move further into the information age, the IT industry needs to ensure that products and services are equally accessible”

"As a long-time developer of streaming media content for the community of people with disabilities we are excited about webcasting this important event celebration," commented Dave Gardy, Chairman and CEO of TVWorldwide.com. "Thanks to AT508.com's compelling programming, the channel has grown rapidly over the last year featuring the incisive and uncensored commentary of highly-respected columnist John Williams who coined the phrase 'assistive technology'. We again expect a huge audience and we are preparing our servers to accommodate this special 15 th anniversary webcast."
